A Walk Down Memory Lane

The New Year was rung in with a walk down memory lane. At 8am Sunday morning, six of us packed into one car and drove the hour and a half to Sanbornton, New Hampshire. Growing up in the city, we used our house in New Hampshire as our weekend escape. When all the kids got busy with sports, it became more difficult to find time to make it up to our weekend home, so we sold the house and kept the memories. Five years later and one trip back, things were just as good as I had remembered growing up.

A trip to New Hampshire is never one without a stop at Tilt’n Diner

The country store where I’d reenact the pickle scene from Little Rascals

Believe it or not, this water is the freshest there is

Despite our house having new owners, the mailbox has remnants of our past

The old barn that hasn’t changed a bit
