The Makings Of…

Happy Friday! A few of my favorite pieces. A great way to break up wall-to-wall carpet common in rentals is to lay a cow hide over the carpet to accent the area around the sofa.

An Ode to Blogging

The reason I have this blog is so that I can share with others my passion for beautiful things and inspiring images. Desire to Inspire has a similar mantra and I  found this blog post in which I had that jaw-dropping, eye-popping moment  when I came across this house’s before and after shots. Not only is the total transformation impressive, but the artwork and creativity that went into the facade of this house is so special, I wonder why we don’t see more home owners turning their houses into works of art.

The before shot if you can believe it. Simply a blank canvas.

Similar black and white detailing on another house

Same vibe on the inside
